[HTML1] Although some might have seen Tom Clancy’s The Division as a straight third person shooter with cover mechanics, anyone who has spent time with the game knows it is much more than that. For all intents and purposes, The Division is a RPG “looter shooter,” where players spend the majority of the end-game grinding for better gear, more experience, or one of the in-game currencies. And as with any game that prioritizes the grind, there are plenty of ways to get the most out of the experience....

The Outbreak event will include three classified gear sets, three different weapon skins, and one set of vanity gear. The Global Event will also include some modifiers to increase the challenge for players and their potential rewards. Players who take part in Outbreak will be facing off against factions infected with the virus, making them extremely contagious and most susceptible to damage from headshots. Special commendations and tokens are also available to players of The Division’s first Global Event....

The good news, though, is that Ubisoft plans on addressing the division tech bottleneck at some point soon. The developers wouldn’t say when or how they will, but this should be welcome news for all Division players. For those who might not be as deep into Tom Clancy’s The Division, division tech is one of numerous crafting materials in the game. These materials are used to make both gear and weapons, and most blueprints require between 3-5 of at least two different types of materials....

The mysterious poster has been on Twitter since September 2008, and in that time, he has amassed over 1.6 million followers. The internet loves its memes, so the Twitter community has obviously grown fond of Dril’s bizarre sense of humor, to the point where he even released a book compiling many of his most popular Tweets....

Diller and Redstone are the guys who discovered that “crude” pays, and they’re determined to get more properties with which to play and profit. Diller, as the creator of Fox Television, brought us “The Simpsons,” and Redstone, through MTV and Nickelodeon, is the purveyor of Beavis, Stimpy, Rocko et al. Last week the three-week-old battle for Paramount escalated as the antagonists brought in reinforcements: Diller rounded up financial credibility from Chemical Bank, and Redstone got a $600 million injection from Wayne Huizenga, the head of Blockbuster Entertainment, the country’s biggest video-store chain....

Given the relative age of Skyrim and the focus on player freedom over narrative, there is ample possibility for Bethesda to add the surprising depth and diversity seen in “A Night to Remember” to future quests in The Elder Scrolls 6....

With The Division just a few months away from launch (hopefully), it looks like the developer is ready to reveal more details about the game. In a new podcast focused on The Division, developers from Ubisoft Massive shared some information about the game’s PVP areas, known as Dark Zones. According to Ryan Barnard, the game director for The Division, The Dark Zones are a little different than the normal PvP arenas players are used to....
