Now developer Massive Entertainment has revealed extensive details for The Division 2’s upcoming Title Update 11 via the game’s official subreddit. The update promises to bring a little something for everyone and will go live on September 22, after an expected server shutdown of approximately three hours. RELATED: The Division 2 Announces PS5, Xbox Series X Backwards Compatibility One of the main aspects of TU11 will be the addition of The Summit, a new PVE game mode that sticks players in a gauntlet-style high-rise building that stands 100 stories tall....

The Division’s servers will go down starting at 12:00 AM PST / 3:00 AM EST, with the system hopefully returning back to normal beginning at 3:00 AM PST / 6:00 AM EST. Of course, as many would-be Agents are probably aware, this instance of repairs is only the latest in impromptu fixes, as unplanned maintenance occurred multiple times last week. As stated by Ubisoft Massive, this latest round of server outage for The Division will address Update 1....

However, while Ubisoft has yet to detail specifically what has changed between The Division’s open beta and launch, one crafty player has found new details. Thanks to a little data mining, this Division player has discovered patch notes for update 1.1, which we assume will be the day 1 patch for the game. Or at the very least, 1.1’s changes will be a part of the day 1 patch....

As seen in the trailer below for The Division’s Update 1.7, the patch will overhaul the game’s existing systems and introduce a new activity type known as Global Events, which are limited-time activities with special gameplay modifiers that give players exclusive rewards. These events are set to begin on a more regular basis, with the first of these starting soon after the patch becomes available, running from August 15, 2017 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST until August 22, and will feature enemies behaving in a different way due to a severe virus outbreak....

The DreamHack Open circuit is preparing to finish out 2020 with two more events. The next event will take place from November 26th through the 29th, and the final event from December 10th through the 13th. Each event will have a $100,000 prize pool. Due to Covid-19 both tournaments will be played fully online. Players will participate in the tournament from their own homes. According to a recent tweet from VentureBeat contributor and industry insider Jeff Grubb, the next Elder Scrolls game is being planned as an Xbox exclusive. The tweet was in response to someone who suggested that Starfield, Bethesda’s upcoming space RPG, could potentially be coming out on PS5 sometime after release. Grubb disagreed with the notion, before adding that Elder Scrolls 6 will also unlikely be getting a PlayStation port....

Most recently, a very detailed leak about The Elder Scrolls 6: Redfall surfaced online. According to the leak, the game will be taking place six years after the events of Skyrim and will feature “huge, epic battle scenes with dozens, if not hundreds of characters battling on-screen in real-time.” There were even talks of vehicle mechanics that will be carried over from Bethesda’s other project called Starfield. However, what made this rumor so convincing is that the leaker posted an NDA agreement that Bethesda made them sign....

If The Elder Scrolls 6 matches Starfield’s ambition, it will likely be filled with plenty of space to explore, hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue, and plenty more for fans to get excited about. However, despite The Elder Scrolls 6 clearly marking a step forwards for the franchise, Bethesda should look to its past when deciding on what features the latest game could include. Namely, if The Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be a return to glory following over a decade of Skyrim re-releases, Bethesda should look to include the unique navigation system of Morrowind....

After the Greymoor Chapter in Skyrim, and the Blackwood Chapter in Cyrodiil, the next adventure for Elder Scrolls Online players will take place on the High Isle, with the Chapter releasing on June 6 and continuing the story that began with Ascending Tide, the content update which released yesterday.
