Following the initial reveal, Ubisoft launched the official website for The Division 2, giving fans easy access to watch the cinematic or gameplay trailers once more. While not mentioned at the Microsoft event, Ubisoft posted information on an upcoming beta for the game, following in the footsteps of its predecessor.

Unfortunately, details for what’s inside of the beta as well as when it begins are non-existent right now. Ubisoft has promised more information at a later date, but for now, players can register for a chance to participate. With the game scheduled for release next March, players shouldn’t expect to hear any information on this anytime soon.

As rumored prior to E3, The Division 2 moves the action down south from New York to Washington, DC. According to the trailer, Washington DC is on the brink of collapse where lawlessness and instability have taken hold following the outbreak. All active Agents are called in to fight back and save the city from various new groups who have popped up including a band called the True Sons.

The Division 2 will be released on March 15, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
