Anyone who tries The Division 2 open beta will have a chance to check out some of the early areas in the game, as it sounds like it will be more or less the same content that was offered in the private beta. This means that Division 2 players will likely have a chance to retrieve the Declaration of Independence, which is one of the more interesting side missions that’s available.

Those who participate in The Division 2 open beta will be rewarded in the full game for doing so. By simply playing the beta, players will unlock the DC Patriot skin for their weapons, and those who beat the Invaded mission will get the Capitol Hill arm patch to customize their character with.

The Division 2 private beta was mostly well-received by fans, but had some notable technical issues. Considering this, those who played the private beta may want to check out the open beta as well to see what, if anything, has improved as we inch closer to the game’s official launch in March.

When The Division 2 does launch, it is aiming to keep players engaged with the game on a long-term basis. The first Division was criticized for its inability to keep players interested after they wrapped up the main story content, but The Division 2 is launching with the Invaded endgame missions, plenty of side missions, and a post-launch support plan that includes free DLC episodes.

While it remains to be seen if The Division 2 will keep fans engaged and live up to the hype, the odds certainly seem to be in its favor.

The Division 2 launches March 15 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
