Ubisoft has brought down The Division servers across all platforms earlier this morning for a scheduled maintenance along with applying an update intended to fix a couple of issues. These are the big changes coming with the update:
Fixed instances of players being teleported automatically to the Safehouse/Checkpoint in some areas of the DZ06 and an electronic store in the Open World Moved the no-respawn zone at the entrance of Clear Sky to reduce the risk of players mistakenly entering the Instance before the group was formed
For many however, the big change in this update is the activation of Challenge Mode for the newest incursion, Clear Sky. Maintenance should be wrapping up if not already completed, having been down for an estimated 3 hours. Players should now have the option to change the difficulty on Clear Sky to Challenging in addition to the standard Hard mode.
The Clear Sky challenge mode was originally intended to be part of a bigger update last week, but Massive later delayed it after discovering an issue with the patch which caused many of the updates to simply not work. As of this writing, there has been no reports of a delay or something signalling an issue with the update.
